Work > Making and selling - an ongoing journal

You do not need a degree to make and sell art and crafts, in some ways it is easier not to. Expectations are lower, and you can go about things the way that feels right for you, rather than how you "ought to".
I got fed up with paying entry fees to be rejected. I don't attend craft fairs that charge artists an arm and a leg AND make the customers pay to get in. I now make most of my living selling at a market stall - on a Monday, and some Sundays. The rest is from sales at a few shops and galleries. I pay income tax.
I do not have a degree, I couldn't afford it, but I never stop learning. It is possible.
